Personal Success Definition

I define success as being a prolific musician.

Joe Walsh was in many bands.  He made a lot of music and entertained millions of people.  He brought a lot of happiness to a lot of people in the world.

Skills for Success

Joe Walsh is a talented multi-instrument musician, talented composer, and a great stage performer.  His mother was an avid piano player who brought music into the family’s humble home before Joe was old enough to discover rock n’ roll on the radio. When Joe was still young, he and his family moved to Ohio, Chicago, New York City, and then Montclair, New Jersey. In 1965 Joe landed back in Ohio when he attended Kent State University, where his professional music career began in coffee shops and bars. [1] He played in the Eagles, James Gang, Ringo Starr’s All-Star Band, Barnstorm, BeeGees, and as a solo musician.

Joe Walsh joined many bands over the years. He produced over 43 albums with over 100 different musicians. He continues to make musical achievements through aid concerts like Vet Aid and other organizations.

Challenges Overcome

Describe what challenges they had to overcome to be successful?

Joe Walsh had to overcome many types of addiction to keep his musical career moving forward. In his own words, he said he had been drunk for over 40 years. He recently got clean and then started working more closely with aid organizations that are focused on helping different communities.

Significant Work

Joe Walsh can often be seen on stage making money for charities. This song is an old favorite.
